- Camp Bonnie Brae, owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Pioneer Valley, is the oldest continuous running Girl Scout Camp in the country. It is situated on 200 scenic and tranquil acres, with 4,200 feet of shoreline on Big Pond. The camp has been the ideal location for girls to gather for 85 years. Each summer the Big Pond Association sets aside a Saturday morning to paint, hammer or saw at the camp. Over the years, Association members have been involved in building walkways, decks, and walking paths in addition to siding various buildings throughout the Camp. This has proven to be a very satisfying morning for both the Association volunteers and our neighbors the Girl Scouts.
